2010 Festival

The Eighth Annual SpiritFire Festival will be held from Wednesday, July 7 to Sunday, July 11, 2010.
 
 Some basic highlights about our gathering (you can read detailed information via the FAQ, Registration Info, and other areas of this site):

• Gates open at 10am on Wednesday, July 7th; the arrivals/check-in tent closes down at 6pm, so all arrivals need to be before that time.
•  Early registration rates are from February to April 1st, and regular rates begin on April 2nd.  See the registration page for details.
• Workshop and Presenter information is added continually all the way up through late April, so check back often!  Even after we finalize the list of presenters, things can change so definitely keep an eye out for new workshops, intensives, and presenters.
• There are many opportunities for you to deepen your connection at the gathering, be it your first or eighth time.  Check out affinity groups and if you have questions, don't hesitate to contact one of the staff.  The FAQ is also a great place to find information!

 
Changes for 2010:

• We have new and returning presenters that represent diverse pathways, with some more focus on chant, trance practices, and various forms of music and dance.  
• The meal plan has changed a bit in an effort to provide better meat options to those who want them.  You can read about this on the Registration Info page.
• The nesting area will be changed considerably, so please make sure to read the info packet you can download after registering, and check the Yahoo Group and Blog for discussions about our vision for a more focused, connected nesting space.
• We are changing the basic schedule structure of the gathering somewhat, which is why there aren't a lot of specific times or schedules posted yet.  Look for specific schedule information sometime in late April or early May.  We will still have workshops on Thursday and Friday with open community sessions on Saturday, however.
